About Marine Restoration & Salvage
Brenden and Suzanne

Although Marine Restoration & Salvage is still owned and operated by principle builder Suzanne Leahy, It can no longer be said that she is working solo.

Since we started in 1999, we have had the good fortune to work with area high school students. They have filled our seasonal labor needs beyond our expectations with their enthusiasm, eagerness and energy. We also have had incredibly talented professional boat builders who have worked on specific projects ranging from spar lay-ups to restoration projects to custom boats.

In 2005, we moved to our new home at 80 Rayber Road in Orleans. At that time we purchased four molds from Compass Classic Yachts: Rainbow Cat, Classic Cat, Baybird 18 and Hurricane 18.

In early 2006, we completed the construction of a 2400 square foot addition bringing the total shop space to 4800 square feet. This will allow us to build and restore boats and spars more efficiently.

We are very excited about this new stage of our business growth. The possibilities are incredible, as we focus on our business plan of growth coupled with quality and craftsmanship.
